This policy covers www.3dmisc.com. It describes what the site collects, why, and what happens to it. 3D Misc is based in Evansville, Indiana, United States.
What we collect
The only information this website asks you for is what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, and your message. All three are required in order to reply to you.
When you submit that form we also record the IP address the submission came from, and the date and time. This is included in the message we receive and is used to identify and limit automated spam.
How it is used
Form submissions are sent to us by email and read by a person. We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that work.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone else, except where we are required to by law. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not operate one.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us through the contact form and we will remove it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies of its own, does not use advertising trackers, and does not run analytics software.
Third parties
The Contact page embeds a Google Maps frame showing the Evansville area. When that map loads, your browser contacts Google directly, and Google may collect information about that request and set its own cookies. This is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. If you do not visit the Contact page, the map is never loaded.
Our web hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which normally include visiting IP addresses, the pages requested, and browser details. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure rather than by this website.
Your choices
You can ask us what information of yours we hold, ask for a copy of it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to do so, for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. We will honour these requests regardless of where you are.
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No passwords or payment details are collected anywhere on this website.
